The Project: Workplace Toolkit
The Sun Workplace Toolkit is an online employee resource describing the key tools and applications used throughout Sun Microsystems. The original 400-page printed guide was distributed to new hires during training. When Sun asked us to revamp the toolkit, we suggested turning the guide into a fully searchable online resource. This format now makes it easier to maintain up-to-date content and add new guides as needed. For this project, we detailed over 30 tools and applications and created a Flash movie to introduce new hires to the applications in the toolkit.
